The City of Minneapolis is working on two proposed initiatives aimed at improving sewer infrastructure and public health in the City of Minneapolis:
A potential private sewer lateral insurance program. The City would get bids from insurance companies to help to negotiate the best possible deal for property owners.
A possible sewer line inspection requirement as part of the City’s Truth in Housing process when selling a home in Minneapolis
