EAST BANK CLEAN STREETS

East Bank Clean Streets is our Adopt-a-Street program, organized in partnership with the City of Minneapolis Solid Waste & Recycling department. Through this program, we have adopted East Hennepin Avenue, 1st Avenue NE, University Avenue SE, 4th Street SE, and Como Avenue SE.

With help from local residents, interested guests, volunteers, and neighborhood businesses, we organize cleanups several times each year to remove litter and debris from our streets and sidewalks. This work helps keep trash out of our storm drains, parks, and the Mississippi River, while making our business districts and neighborhood corridors cleaner, safer, and more welcoming.

Volunteers are welcome at any experience level. We provide the basic supplies, including bags and gloves. You bring your energy, interest, and commitment to keeping the East Bank clean.

Get Involved

We host cleanup events multiple times per year and welcome volunteers from across the community. Individuals, families, student groups, and businesses are all encouraged to participate.

Please sign up in advance when possible so we can bring the right amount of supplies and refreshments.

Together, we can keep our streets clean, protect our storm drains, and help care for the East Bank neighborhoods.
