EAST BANK PHOTO PROJECT
Help Build the East Bank Neighborhood Photo Archive
The East Bank Neighborhoods Partnership is launching a new community history project, and we need your help. We are working to create a shared archive of photographs that document the places, spaces, and stories of our neighborhoods over time.
We are seeking photos of buildings, streets, businesses, parks, landmarks, signs, storefronts, public spaces, community events, and neighborhood changes—both past and present. Images that capture the character and evolution of the East Bank are especially welcome.
To respect privacy, we prefer photographs that focus on places rather than identifiable individuals. Photos where people are incidental or not the main subject may still be considered, but our priority is images of the built environment and neighborhood life.
If you have photographs tucked away in albums, boxes, hard drives, or phone galleries, we’d love to hear from you. If your photos are printed and you need help scanning them, EBNP may be able to assist with digitizing your images.
By sharing your images, you can help preserve neighborhood history and create a valuable public resource for future generations.
You can submit your photos using our form on this page, or email them directly to Dani Hielscher, at dani@eastbankmpls.org.
