MPLS Park & Recreation Board seeks input over potential change of use at the Nicollet Island Pavilion
MPRB is seeking input from the neighborhood regarding a possible change of use for the Nicollet Island Pavilion.
After 25 years as an event center that focuses on private events, the MPRB is hoping this venue can become more accessible to the public daily. They expect to issue a request for interest to potential operators early this fall. If an appropriate change of use comes forward and is accepted by MPRB, the neighborhood could see a new use in early 2028.
MPRB seeks to be a good neighbor and would like to discuss potential neighborhood concerns associated with a change of use, so they can guide the process appropriately.
