NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING

Heritage Preservation text amendment:               

Amending Title 23, Chapter 599 of the Minneapolis Code of Ordinances relating to Heritage Preservation: Heritage Preservation Regulations.

The purpose of the amendment is to update and modernize heritage preservation regulations including application types, fees, review processes, and standards for nominating and designating landmarks and historic districts.

The City Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, 4:30 p.m., in Room 350 Public Service Center (PSC), 250 S 4th St, Minneapolis, MN.  Interested parties are invited to attend and be heard. Planning Department staff will issue a recommendation to the Planning Commission. After hearing from the public, the Planning Commission will make a determination based on required legal findings of fact.
